Open House Wrap up!

I know it's been a while and I'm totally slow to post this but here is the rest of the cards I made for my open house a couple weeks ago.
Here was the entry table. All full of Stampin' goodies and sign ups. I'm still working on getting the last of it put away actually. Too bad it's WAY more fun to stamp than it is to do housework!

This is the baking dish of tank you gifts for everyone who came and either signed up for something or placed an order. There were single stamps or packs of 3 cards. I made WAY to much stuff of course, but I suppose it's always better to be prepared.

This was the most popular card design, and also the most labor intensive of the three. I've been dying to use my Beautiful Wings die with a grass background stamp. Yay!

I used:

* Inspired by Nature stamp set

* Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Whisper White

* Extra Large Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/4" circle punch, Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die

This was the least chosen card design of the bunch but it was my personal favorite. I was going for quick and cute and a little bit funky. Trust me, it looks even better in real life!

I used:

* On Your Birthday stamp set

* Concord Crush, Peach Parfait, Poppy Parade, Blushing Bride and Crumb Cake

* Wide Oval Punch, Small Heart Punch, Pear Pizazz Ribbon

Oh, and here's the cute inside.

And last but not least, this classy little number!

This card is great because it takes about 4 minutes to make, has no bumps for easy shipping and uses VERY little product and so is very inexpensive but I don't think it looks cheap. You know?

Beautiful Butterfly Gift Kit!!!

Yay! I finally got it all put together! This kit includes an adorable box, 6 cards (2 each of 3 different designs) and envelopes. All pre-cut and stamped and all for $10!!!

It comes with either "Happy Birthday" sayings or "Thank You" depending on what you prefer.

I plan on making one of each of these for myself, for my mom...and maybe a few more for Grandma, Mother-in-law, friends...etc. It makes a great gift for others AND a great gift for yourself.

And at only $10, totally afordable too!

Did I mention it's already stamped and cut so all you need to do is assemble it?

I know it's hard to schedule time for a class that works for everyone, so this solves all of that because there is no class! Just order your kits, I'll deliver or mail them to you (depending on where you live) and you assemble them while watching Pride and Prejudice after the kids go to bed (Ok, maybe that's just me) and voila! You have all your gifts made for upcoming birthdays, Mother's day...etc.

Thinking of Beautiful Wings

I made htis card for a friend who's been a bit under the weather. I've been wanting to try it for a while now and I was amazing with how fast it was. The hardest part was deciding in what order the butterflies should go. I went with ROYGBIV, except I'm missing a couple. What color is indigo anyway?

Butterflies and Polka Dots

This is the card we made at club last week. I got the idea from Julie Davidson's lovely blog here: http://juliedavison.blogspot.com/
I LOVE the new butterfly stuff in the Occasions Mini catalog, and you cn count on me using it all a lot more throughout the spring.
The polka dotted butterfly uses the Butterfly Accent stamp as well as the Dot, Dot, Dot stamp AND the "Kissing" technique. If you haven't tried it, you should because its soooo much fun.

I used:

*Butterfly Accent, Dot, Dot, Dot, and A Littel birthday Cheer stamps

*Melon Mambo, So Saffron and Whisper White

*Beautiful Wings Embosslits die (so cute)

*Circle Scissors Plus

After making the card above I got to work on some scrapbook pages from last March. I used all the same techniques and products, just in different layouts. I'm really not much of a scrapbooker so this was a struggle for me. The only reason I got 3 whole pages done is I didn't like the first two I made so I had to keep going. Can you tell which ones I didn't like?
