Spring Flowers Card Stock Up Party!

It's time again for a card making day and what better way to celebrate spring than by making 12 flower-themed cards? Yay!!!

Spring Flowers Card Party will be at my house, on Saturday April 24th at 10:00 (lunch provided!)

AND

Thursday April 29th at 6:00 (snacks and refreshments provided!)

The cost for the event is only $15 and you'll get to make 4 of each of the three cards above. That's 12 cards!!!

Would you like a special gift? Bring a new friend and get a free gift!!!

And as always I'll have lots of prizes to give away and maybe even some special deals for attendees. You'll have to come to find out!

Let me know right away if you'd like to come!

I know you're curious so I'll tell you a little about each card. Each of them can be personalized with whatever sentiment you'd like. I have tons of "word" stamps so if you need cards for specific occasions, don't worry, I probably have a stamp for that!

I haven't totally decided on what color purses we'll be making so it might end up a couple of different colors. Again, you'll just have to come to find out.

With great flowers like this you really can't go wrong!

And, last but not least, the simply adorable flower. Everyone you know would love to get this card!

If you won't be able to make it to the party but you'd still like the cards you can purchase a kit for $18.00 plus shipping.

Butterfly Assembly Tutorial

This is what the kit looks like when you get it. The peices of the box are right in front. and not in an envelope so we'll start on the box first.

All you need in order to assmeble the box and cards are:
* Folding tool. I use a bone folder but if you don't have one you can use whatever is handy. Everything is pre-scored so it shouldn't be too bad
* Tape adhesive for all the flat peices.
* Glue dots for the butterflies. I use small glue dots so theat the extra adhesive doesn't show.

Lets start with the box, here's what it looks like finished:

Fold all the sides along the score lines so that the strips of adhesive are facing out like shown

Peel the red adhesive covers off and stick it together.

You'll do the same thing on the box top but I like to stick the face on first so I don't have to squihs the box after it's stuck together, like so. Make sure you can see the red adhesive covers!

Then fold the box top and stick it together the same as you did for the box bottom.

I included a few sticky foam dots in your kits. Use them for the embelishment on the front of the box,  something like this:

Place a glue dot right in the middle of the butterfly and dhere him to the larger butterfly. I only use one on the small butterflies and two on the large ones so taht their wings are free to move a bit.

This is how all the cards come. Everything you need is in the envelope!
Yay!

Just assmeble the cards to look like the pictures. Remember, use tape adhesive on the flat layers and glue dots for the butterflies.

Here are pictures of the finished cards in case you need a refresher:

Thanks for buying a butterfly kit!

Have fun!

Beautiful Butterfly Gift Kit!!!

Yay! I finally got it all put together! This kit includes an adorable box, 6 cards (2 each of 3 different designs) and envelopes. All pre-cut and stamped and all for $10!!!

It comes with either "Happy Birthday" sayings or "Thank You" depending on what you prefer.

I plan on making one of each of these for myself, for my mom...and maybe a few more for Grandma, Mother-in-law, friends...etc. It makes a great gift for others AND a great gift for yourself.

And at only $10, totally afordable too!

Did I mention it's already stamped and cut so all you need to do is assemble it?

I know it's hard to schedule time for a class that works for everyone, so this solves all of that because there is no class! Just order your kits, I'll deliver or mail them to you (depending on where you live) and you assemble them while watching Pride and Prejudice after the kids go to bed (Ok, maybe that's just me) and voila! You have all your gifts made for upcoming birthdays, Mother's day...etc.
